Paleo Coconut & Cacao Slice
Indulge yourself with all of the pleasure and none of the guilt! Improve your mood and burn fat with these simple ingredients.
You will need:
3 cups of desiccated coconut
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup of dates
2 Tablespoons of cacao
* Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and sticky.
* Empty contents into a baking dish or onto a lined baking tray.
* Press mixture flat (I use a glass jar to roll the mixture flat).
* Cut into squares and refrigerate until hard.
NB: this slice doesn't make a good lunch box snack as it needs to be kept cold.

The cacao is full of antioxidants and minerals which boost your cell & brain function helping you to fire on all cylinders . Dates also contain the essential amino acid tryptophan. This is good for us humans as it makes us feel happy and relaxed. Yay!
